| Abstract: |
| Treatment of high arsenic copper concentrate with flash smelting was discussed. Metallurgical calculation was carried out according to arsenic distribution in one “double-flash” smelter in China. To address exceeding arsenic content in anode copper, dust recovery from electric dust collector was put forward. Feasibility of this process is demonstrated through production data and industrial test of one double-flash smelter. The results show that arsenic content can be reduced by 20% and arsenic in anode copper can meet requirement after electric dust collection. “Double-flash” process can effectively treat high arsenic copper concentrate. |
