| Abstract: |
| According to the characteristics of ilmenite in Panxi area, a new technology of producing artificial rutile from ilmenite by multi-stage countercurrent leaching process with hydrochloric acid was proposed. So, the atmospheric pressure leaching process on ilmenite was achieved and initial leaching acid concentration was reduced. The connection between hydrochloric acid regeneration and cyclic utilization was resolved. Artificial rutile with more than 94% TiO2 content was produced in semi-industrial expansion test, the direct recovery of titanic was over 96%, and the size distribution of artificial rutile was satisfied with the requirement of titanium chloride. |
