Abstract:
The process of leaching low-grade oxidation manganese ore in one-step to prepare manganese sulfate was investigated. In the leaching process, manganese sulfate solution used for electrolysis was prepared with sulfite as reductant, removing Fe3 with jarosite process, and removing heavy metal ion with sulphide salt. The results show that the manganese leaching rate is 96.42% in the optimum conditions including sample ore of 10 g, sulfuric acid dosage of 6 mL, sodium sulfite dosage of 6 g, and leaching for100 min at 90 ℃. The leaching rate of iron is 0.02% by controlling pH value at 2.5 in the endpoint of neutralization. The qualified manganese sulfate solution was prepared by controlling pH value at 4.5 in the endpoint of de-impurity.
