Abstract:
      The effect of oxidization-reduction-mechanical activation process on hydrochloric acid leaching behavior of iron of Panxi ilmenite was studied. The mineral microstructure was investigated by XRD, SEM/EDS, etc before and after activation treatment. The results indicate that the phase microstructure and surface morphology of ilmenite are changed obviously after activation treatment; the surface of ilmenite becomes loose with micro-fissures. Iron migrates to the surface and its leaching rate is increased significantly.
