Abstract:
      The stirring and mixing process in mixer-settler were simulated and analyzed by means of Fluent software with aqueous phase and organic phase (P507) as the simulation object, and the upper two layer of stirrer adopted straight blade and the lower adopted turbine impeller. The results show that a low pressure area is formed in the stirring axis center, as a result of which the liquid is pumped into the mixing chamber and forms a periodic circular flow, and impeller torques of each layer increase gradually from top to bottom.
