| Abstract: |
| Niobium powder was prepared by sodiothermic reduction process from NbCl5 in different molten salts. The phases, morphology and element of the niobium powder were analyzed by XRD, FESEM and EDS. The results show that fine and uniform niobium nanometer powder was successfully obtained in the molten salt systems of LiCl-10.0%NaCl-36.0%KCl(mole percent), LiCl-44.2%KCl-5.3% CaCl2 and LiCl-11.6%KCl-36.1% CaCl2, and the oxygen content of the niobium powder decreases after in situ heat treatment in molten salts at 750 ℃. |
