Abstract:
A new comprehensive recovery process from zinc smelting slag with indium content was optimized. The effects of acidity, ratio of liquid to solid, time, temperature on the leaching rate of zinc and indium were investigated, and whereabouts of metal indium with a variety of acidity were studied. The optimal process conditions were obtained. The results show that the overall recovery of indium is 82.8% after two step leaching.
