Abstract:
      The leaching kinetics of cobalt from LiCoO2 cathode of spent lithium-ion batteries in the medium of H2SO4+H2O2 with ultrasonic was studied. The effects of ultrasonic, H2O2 dosage and temperature on the leaching of cobalt were investigated. The results show that the ultrasonic and H2O2 stimulate the leaching process of cobalt significantly. The Avrami equation is fitted to the cobalt leaching kinetics and the apparent activation energy is 22.72 kJ/mol.
