| Abstract: |
| Nanopowders were prepared with wire electrical explosion (WEE) of “contact” and “gas discharge”, respectively. The burning loss of electrodes was observed and the micro-size particle percentage was calculated. The results show that, during the process of WEE of “gas discharge”, the ablation of electrodes is slight, the proportion of micro-size particles in nanopowders is smaller, and the WEE of “gas discharge” is more applicable for engineering. Furthermore, increasing the initial charging voltage could reduce the proportion of micron-size particles. |
