Abstract:
Silicon powder was prepared by electrolysis in 850 ℃ molten salt with waste quartz crucible as raw materials. The powders were characterized by XRD and SEM and the impurities were analyzed with ICP-AES. The results show that in form of silicon as an element with torispherical particles and low impurity contents of boron and phosphorus, the electrolysis powder meets the requirements of SOG-Si production.
