Abstract:
Tin tailings were chloride volatilized in Muffle furnace and pipe furnace. The effects of reductant (anthracite) and calcium chloride on volatility of valuable metals were investigated. The results show that the volatility rates of tin, lead and zinc are 96.15%, 96.22% and 73.51%, respectively under the following optimum conditions including anthracite dosage of 8%, calcium chloride dosage of 21%, lime dosage of 5.21%, temperature of 1 000 ℃, and time of 3 hours.
