Abstract:
Powdered petroleum coke was pelletized, and the effect of calcination conditions on the recovery efficiency and true density of calcined coke was investigated. The results show that pelletizing can improve the recovery efficiency and true density of calcined coke, reduce the calcination loss, and improve the quality of calcined coke. Heating rate, calcination temperature and calcination time can affect the recovery efficiency and true density of calcined coke. The production cost can be reduced and the quality of calcined coke can be improved by controlling the calcination conditions.
