Abstract:
The iron content in acidic leaching solution of zinc hydrometallurgical residue was usually high. The iron removal effects of oxidation-neutralization process were compared with different oxidant including air, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and manganese dioxide (MnO2). The effects of pH and temperature on iron removal of H2O2-oxidation-neutralization process were investigated. The results show that H2O2-oxidation-neutralization process is the optimum way of iron removal, and with the increasing of temperature, the iron removal rate increases with better filtrating.
