Abstract:
The carbothemic reduction of Kivcet lead smelting process treating zinc leaching residue was simulated. Silver distributions in crude lead and slag in different temperatures were studied. The results show that the maximum distribution ratio of silver in lead and slag is 30.13 at 1 200℃, while 19.17 at 1 300 ℃. The silver can be well enriched in crude lead. The temperature of carbothemic reduction of lead oxide melt should not be too high to make more plenty of silver into lead to improve silver recovery.
