| Abstract: |
| Column bio-leaching tests under different spraying conditions on the uranium mineral bio-heap residues were conducted with bio-heap leaching process. The uranium content of the residues was 0.014%. The results show that the leaching rate is 50% after a leaching period of four months with ratio of liquid to solid of 1.74 and one spray for two-days, while the leaching rate is 28.6% with ratio of liquid to solid of 0.94 and one spray for four-days. This leaching process with small and interval spray has the advantages of low cost, efficient uranium recovery from the bio-heap residues and less environmental pollution. |
