| Abstract: |
| Mullite-silica-enstatite composites fibers were prepared with sol-gel method with aluminum nitrate, magnesia and tetraethyl orthosilicate as raw materials, and lactic acid as complexant. FTIR spectra, XRD, and SEM analysis were applied to characterize the properties of the gel and ceramic fibers. The results show that the composites fibers with a smooth surface and dense microstructure are obtained through the sintering gel fibers at 1 200 ℃ for 2 h. |
