| Abstract: |
| Copper and cobalt were recovered from copper and cobalt concentrates from CMSK Ltd of DR Congo with a series of processes including floatation, sulfating roasting, acidic leaching, extraction and electro-deposition (SX-EW-Co), iron removing and cobalt precipitation. The results show that the optimum roasting conditions including particle size of -0.074 mm of 90%, Na2SO4 dosage of 7.5%, temperature of 700 ℃, and roasting time of 30 min. The leaching rate of copper and cobalt is 97.61% and 95.92% respectively after the calcine is leached through the two-stage acidic leaching process. |
