Abstract:
With lead paste and lead sulfate as raw materials, the precursors similar to lead citrate were prepared with the leaching system of citric acid and sodium citrate. TG-DSC was applied to analyze the thermal decomposition behavior of the precursor. The morphology, size and composition prior to and after calcinations were characterized by means of SEM and EDS. The results show that the lead citrate from lead paste is completely decomposed at 420 ℃. The total decomposition temperature of the lead citrate from lead sulfate is 370 ℃, and both lead citrates have scaly structures. Agglomerate occurs in the former calcined products, while the products of the later are of large particles. The products after calcination mainly contain lead and oxygen.
