| Abstract: |
| The common mechanical failures of converter furnace in a Smelter were analyzed. The convert furnace works with steadier conditions on the basis of equipment innovation and effective addressing of common mechanical failures. The main technical and economic indexes, including energy consumption of per ton copper, consumption of refractory material, copper in slag, were improved. The service life of converter furnace is prolonged. |
