| Abstract: |
| Nickel was extracted from nickel sulfide concentrate through oxidation leaching process with low acid concentration and high temperature. The effects of initial vitriol concentration, oxygen partial pressure, temperature, time and ratio of liquid to solid on the leaching rate of nickel were investigated. The results show that the leaching rate of nickel will reach 95% under the following optimum conditions including initial acidity of 50 g/L, oxygen partial pressure of 0.9~1.0 MPa, temperature of 130~150 ℃, time of 6 hours, and ratio of liquid to solid of 5∶1. |
