Abstract:
      The bio-leaching tailing heap was aged with 200 g/L concentrated sulfuric acid to recover uranium. The results show that the uranium leaching rate of aged ore is triple compared with that of within adjacent period of time. It is proved that concentrated sulfuric acid aging is effective to improve uranium leaching rate and shorten leaching period.
