| Abstract: |
| The metal tantalum powders with high apparent density (>3.0 g/cm3) was prepared from sodium reduction tantalum powders with the following processes including pre-conglomeration with stirring, high temperature heat treatment, hydrogenation, dehydrogenation and deoxidizing with magnesium reduction, etc. The preparation cost of metal tantalum powder is reduced significantly with the above processes. The product can be widely used as alloy additive and raw material for tantalum processing. |
