Effect of Heaping Methods of Pyrite on Uranium Bioleaching

Abstract:
      The uranium ore was bioleached with column leaching in ways of mixture heaping, overhead heaping and segregation heaping. The best way to construct pyrite heap was studied. The results show that the uranium leaching rate of mixture, overhead and segregation heaping is 89.12%, 84.37%, and 85.45% respectively. Mixture heaping has an invigorating effect on uranium bioleaching compared with overhead and segregation heaping.
