| Abstract: |
| The conventional process of roasting-leaching-electrolysis was applied by a zinc smelter and the zinc concentration in zinc raffinate was up to 45 g/L. The technical difficulty to recover zinc was how to remove the organic matte in solution. The removal rate of oil is above 85% under the following conditions including flow rate of raffinate of 20 L/min, temperature of 40 ℃, with application of pre-separation of oil-water and pre-removal of floats. |
