| Abstract: |
| The discarded slag of Jinchuan electric settling furnace (ESF) contains high content valuable metal with high melting temperature. The main form of nickel and copper loss in slag is manifested through SEM-EDS and XRD. The melting temperature of semi-synthetic slag, basically Ausmelt smelting slag, was measured. The effects of Fe/SiO2 ratio and CaO content on melting temperature of semi-synthetic slag were investigated. The results show that the melting temperature of slag declines significantly when Fe/SiO2 ratio is 0.9~1.0 and CaO content is 6%~10%. The results can provide optimized process parameters for Jinchuna nickel Ausmelt smelting. |
