Abstract:
Extracted first from stone coal in Yueyang, Hunan province with acid curing, vanadium was then leached by two-stage countercurrent extraction process. The results show that the raw material is first treated with curing process under the conditions including dosage of sulfuric acid of 26%, particle size of -2.0 mm, curing temperature of 150 ℃, and curing time of 3.5 h. The total vanadium leaching rate is about 94% after the curing material is leached at room temperature with two stage countercurrent process under the conditions including ratio of liquid to solid of 1.5∶1 and leaching time for each stage of 3.0 h. This process has the advantages of no roasting dust pollution, high vanadium leaching rate, simple of flowsheet and etc.
