| Abstract: |
| A cobalt electrowinning production line applying the closed electrolytic cell with capacity of 2 000 t/a has been running successfully for 4 years. The comparison on technical index and operation cost with those of membrane electrolytic cell shows that the closed cell performs better, to avoid chlorine gas leaking, improve operation conditions, and reduce energy consumption. The cost of one ton electrowinning cobalt reduces 11 000 RMB. |
