Abstract:
Chloride ion in manganese electrolyte was removed through CuCl precipitation process. Orthogonal and single-factor experiments were employed to examine the effects of reaction temperature, reaction time, dosage of copper sulfate and powdered iron on dechlorinate. The results show that dosage of copper sulfate has a great effect on Cl- removal rate. Removal rate of Cl- is 60.8% under the appropriate conditions including reaction temperature of 40 ℃, reaction time of 30 min, dosage of copper sulfate of 30.0 g/L, and dosage of powdered iron of 3.0 g/L.
