Abstract:
Nickel was extracted from nickel ferrophosphorus, by-product of calcium-magnesium phosphate (fertilizer), with atmospheric pressure sulfating roasting and water leaching process. The effects of technical parameters on nickel leaching rate were emphatically investigated. The results show that the nickel extraction rate is 73.43% under the optimum conditions including ratio of acid to material of 0.5, roasting temperature of 300 ℃, roasting time of 3 h, ratio of solid to liquid of 7∶1, leaching temperature of 70 ℃, and leaching time of 2.5 h.
