| Abstract: |
| The purification slag from zinc hydrometallurgy was first leached at high temperature. Valuable metals of zinc, cobalt and cadmium entered into lixivium, and copper remained in slag. Copper concentrate was obtained from this copper slag by high acidic leaching and washing process. The results show that copper concentrate with copper grade of 65% above and less than 2% of zinc is obtained under the optimum high temperature leaching conditions including ratio of solid to liquid of (6~7)∶1, original acid concentration of 100 g/L, pH value of terminal point of 3.0, temperature of 80~85 ℃, and time of 8 h and the optimum high acidic washing conditions including ratio of solid to liquid of (4~6)∶1, terminal acidity of 50 g/L, temperature of 70~87 ℃, and time of 60~90 min. |
