Abstract:
The preparation of copper sulfate from copper slag with oxygen pressure acid leaching process was studied. The results show that the leaching rate of copper is above 92% under the conditions including pressure of 0.2 MPa, temperature of 80 ℃, initial sulfuric acid concentration of 10% and leaching time of 2 h. The crystallized copper sulfate can be produced from lixivium by direct cooling and crystallization process without evaporation and concentration. This process has the advantages of low energy consumption and no production of waste water.
