| Abstract: |
| The exhaust rate of unit product of atmospheric contaminant from three typical copper pyrometallurgy processes, i.e., Flash Smelting Flash Converting (FS FC), Flash Smelting PS Converting (FS PSC), and Molten Bath Smelting PS Converting (MBS PSC), can satisfy the benchmark requirement of “Emission Standard of Pollutants for Copper, Nickel, Cobalt Industry”. The sequence in ascending order of the exhaust rate of unit product is FS FC, FS PSC, and MBS PSC. The comparative analysis results of the exhaust rate of main atmospheric pollutant show that FS and FC process have the advantages including environmental protection, energy conserving, big production capacity, and advanced technology in copper pyrometallurgy. The FS and FC technology can be of great benefit for copper smelting corporations existing or newly-built to expand the scale and satisfy severe environmental criteria. |
