Abstract:
      Copper was extracted from copper dross with oxidizing roasting and acid leaching process. The effects of ratio of liquid to solid, sulfuric acid concentration, reaction time and leaching temperature on copper leaching rate were primarily investigated. The results show that the copper leaching rate is 99.35% under the following optimum conditions including oxidation roasting temperature of 750 ℃, roasting time of 2 h, ratio of liquid to solid of 5∶1, sulfuric acid concentration of 20%, leaching temperature of 90 ℃ leaching time of 2 h, and stirring speed of 300 r/min.
