Abstract:
Tellurium was recovered from water leached residue of tellurium slag with acid leaching and potential control reduction process. The results show that tellurium leaching rate is 98.5% under the acid leaching conditions including hydrochloric acid concentration of 2.5 mol/L, reaction time of 4 h, temperature of 75 ℃, and ratio of liquid to solid of 5∶1. The tellurium reduction rate is 94.28% and tellurium content in reduction slag is 70.25% under the potential control reduction conditions including reductant dosage of 2 times of theoretical amount, dropping time of 45 min, holding time of 45 min, and end point electric potential of ~290 mV.
