Abstract:
      (Zr0.83Cu0.17)88-xAl12Nix amorphous alloy was prepared by suction casting of copper. The effects of nickel content on amorphous alloy formation ability and mechanical properties were investigated. The results show that the alloy is not completely amorphous when nickel content is low. The breaking strength and plastic strain is 1 679 MPa and 7.56% respectively when nickel mass fraction is 10%, and the width of undercooling liquid phase (△T) is 84.64 K. The alloy of this component has stronger amorphous formation ability.
