| Abstract: |
| Trace nickel and copper were added in Zr80Co15Al5 base amorphous alloy. Rodlike amorphous alloy of (Zr0.88Cu0.12)95-2xAl5(NiCu)x(x=1.5, 2.5, 3.5) amorphous alloy was prepared by copper mould suction casting and semi-solid processing. The effects of semi-sold process on microstructure, glass forming ability, and fracture morphology of amorphous alloy were investigated by SEM, XRD and optical microscope (OM). The results show that Zr80Co15Al5 alloy has preferable crystallization forming ability after addition of trace nickel and copper with semi-solid processing. |
