Abstract:
Rare-earth complex oxides oxygen storage materials CeO2-ZrO2-La2O3-Pr6O11 was prepared by co-precipitation process. The oxygen storage materials with high specific surface area and high thermal stability were obtained by controlling concentration of dispersant and surfactant and changing process parameters. The samples were characterized. The results show that the mole ratio of Ce, Zr, La and Pr is about 40∶50∶5∶5. The grain size distribu-tion is D10 of 1.508 μm, D50 of 3.348 μm, and D90 of 6.824 μm. The fresh and aged (1 000 ℃ 4 h) specific surface area of the materials is 101.5 m2/g and 40.21 m2/g respectively. The oxygen storage materials have high thermal stability.
