Abstract:
The ways to improve leaching rates of uranium and molybdenum from a molybdenum-bearing uranium ore were discussed. The leaching process was analyzed in terms its advantage and disadvantage. The results show that alkaline pressure leaching process is selected and the optimum conditions include dosage of alkaline of 18 %, oxygen partial pressure of 0.7 MPa, temperature of 120 ℃, ratio of liquid to solid of 1.5∶1, and time of 3 h. The leaching rate of uranium and molybdenum are both above 89%.
