Abstract:
Severe interfacial emulsifying phenomenon occurred during process of blank roasting-sulfuric acid leaching-extracting-vanadium precipitation of vanadium extraction from stone coal. The characteristic of emulsion was systematically investigated, and the prevention measures are preliminarily discussed. The results show that emulsion is caused by impurities and degradation products of organic phase, and precipitates formed from hydrolyzing and complexing of iron, magnesium, aluminum, silicon and other impurities ion in extraction solution.
