Abstract:
      Spinel LiMn2O4 for lithium-ion battery cathode material was prepared from MnO2 recovered from waste Zn-Mn batteries by hydrometallurgy recycling technology. The structural and morphological properties of products were characterized by XRD and SEM. The electrochemical properties of sample were investigated with charge and discharge test. The results show that LiMn2O4 with high purity and uniformity particle size distribution spinel is obtained. The initial specific capacity of LiMn2O4 cathode materials is 119 mAh/g, which is suitable for lithium-iron batteries cathode material.
