Abstract:
Rare earth was separated from rare earth bearing apatite concentrates by nitric acid leaching and neutralization precipitation. The results show that nitric acid leaching rate of phosphorus and REO is 98.80% and 65.34% respectively. The precipitation rate of phosphorus and REO is 12.07% and 93.78% respectively when nitric acid leaching solution is neutralized and precipitated. The total leaching rate of phosphorus and REO is 87.34% and 4.35% respectively with the simplified flowsheet.
