Abstract:
The microstructure and magnetic properties of iron-based amorphous alloy Fe65Ni1Al5Ga2P8.65B9.6Si3C5.75 pretreated in different ways were studied with XRD, TEM, SEM and VSM. The results show that after copious cooling and cycle annealing pretreatment, atomic structure is relaxed, atomic groups are observed with an aggregation of atoms, meanwhile order and dense between atoms are strengthened. During segmental crystallization processing, more nucleation cores are provided by pretreated amorphous samples which, compared with quenched samples, have more atomic groups, and particles with smaller grain size, more uniform grain distribution and precipitate phase species are produced. Moreover, the processes of dynamics and thermodynamics are also changed. The soft magnetic properties of pretreated samples are better than those of quenched samples.
