Abstract:
      Heat transfer model of molten bath in sponge titanium production by magnesiothermic reduction was established with VOF multiphase flow model, energy equation, RNG k-ε equation and its boundary conditions. The results show that the temperature field distribution by calculation preferably coincides with the measured value.
