Abstract:
Valuable metals such as Au, Ag, and Cu were comprehensively recovered from pyrite cinder by chloridizing roasting process. The effects of pelletizing, roasting temperature and staying duration on metal volatilization rates and mass balance of materials and metals were investigated. The results show that the volatilization rates of Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, Zn are 95.6%, 52.5%, 73.1%, 93.9%, and 75.2% respectively under the optimum conditions including roasting temperature of 1 250 ℃ and staying duration of 1.83 h. The contents of Cu, Pb, Zn in chloridizing pellet are all below 0.1%, and the compression strength of pellet is 4 0~6.5 kN.
