Abstract:
      Spinel LiMn2O4, as a cathode material for lithium-ion battery, was prepared by sol-gel method with LiOH?H2O, CH3COOLi?2H2O and LiNO3 as lithium source. The microstructure was characterized by XRD and SEM and the electrochemical properties were investigated with charge and discharge tests. The results show that the product prepared with LiNO3 as lithium source has better morphological properties and higher initial specific capacity, and the sample prepared with LiNO3 as lithium source exhibits good cycling performance.
