Abstract:
SiO2/TiO2 composite was produced by sol-gel method and characterized by TG test with ethanol as solvent, sodium silicate and butyl titanate as raw materials. The results show that the optimum conditions include volume ratio of sodium silicate, butyl titanate, ethanol, and water of 7∶5∶30∶20, pH=2, sodium silicate dosage of 30 mL, continuous string time of 4 h, roasting temperature of 450 ℃, and roasting time of 2 h. With the composite, copper is well adsorbed and cyanide is well separated from wastewater.
