| Abstract: |
| Organic additive T3 was employed in manufacture of electrolytic manganese by simulating practical industrial process. The effects of T3 dosage, current density, Mn2 concentration and temperature on current efficiency were investigated. The results indicate that the current efficiency is 68.0% under the conditions including Mn2 concentration of 18 g/L, T3 dosage of 0.010 g/L, current density of 430 A/m2 and temperature of 40 ℃. The electrolysis should be performed under temperature of 45 ℃ as a higher temperature is unfavorable for electrolysis. |
