Abstract:
Bismuth atoms were doped into FePt/Au composite films to improve film microstructure via interface regulation and reduce ordering temperature of FePt/Au composite films while prependicular magnetic anisotropy was preserved. The results show that Bi atomic diffusions in film tend to increase film defect density, which facilitates ordering of composite films. The ordering temperature of films is reduced from 500 ℃ to 450 ℃.
