| Abstract: |
| Pure aluminum electrolytic dry impermeable materials were used for rare earth molten salt electrolysis. Though able to prevent infiltration of LiF in electrolyte, the materials cannot stop penetration of LaF3 to aluminum electrolyte. CaO, MgO, La2O3, Fe2O3, and SiC were added to dry impermeable material matrix to study impermeable effect of modified materials. The results show that addition of CaO, La2O3, and MgO will accelerate corrosion of rare earth molten salt on impermeable materials, while impermeable materials with Fe2O3 or 8% SiC addition have good anti-seepage performance, furthermore dry impermeable materials with Fe2O3 SiC addition have anti-seepage performance to the best. |
