Abstract:
Gold was acidic leached from refractory gold ore with thiourea and oxidant. The factors affecting gold leaching rate were investigated. The results show that the gold leaching rate is about 80% under the optimum conditions including initial sulfuric acid concentration of 1.3 mol/L, thiourea concentration of 100 g/L, ferric sulfate concentration of 100 g/L, ratio of liquid to solid of 10∶1, and reaction time of 10 h.
